Overview

The Body Polish Ritual is a simple, indulgent hour. A fine salt and oil polish is massaged over the body in slow circular movements to exfoliate gently, followed by a warm rinse and a generous layer of nourishing body oil.

It is a lovely treatment on its own, and an especially good beginning before a massage or a special occasion. Skin is left feeling soft and smooth, and you leave feeling looked after.

What to expect

    Warm welcome

    We talk through any sensitive areas and choose between a lightly scented or unscented polish.

  2. 02

    The polish

    A fine salt and oil scrub massaged over the body, section by section, while you stay covered and warm.

  3. 03

    A warm rinse

    Time to rinse in a private shower with fresh towels and a soft robe.

  4. 04

    Body oil & rest

    A slow application of body oil, then a few quiet minutes before you dress.

Preparing for your visit

  • Avoid shaving or waxing for 24 hours beforehand, as salt can sting freshly shaved skin.
  • Let us know about any cuts, sunburn or skin sensitivities.
  • Disposable underwear is provided, or bring your own if you prefer.
  • Allow a little extra time to shower and dress afterwards.

Afterwards

Skin may feel very soft and slightly warm. Avoid hot baths, saunas or fake tan for the rest of the day, and enjoy the oil soaking in.
